Multiplication Flash Cards/Games

Hi All,

As of today each of your children will have received from either multiplication flash cards or a multiplication/division math game. They are theirs to keep and use as practice. If you don't see them brought home, please ask your child about them.

Nightly Multiplication Math Homework

Hi All,

There has been a serious lack of effort in our class about studying the multiplication facts for homework. I have told them that they should be practicing nightly. They can do this in multiple ways (orally, writing them out, flash cards, apps, etc.).  Effective immediately, both grades are going to be required to practice their multiplication facts for at least 15 minutes each night. This will be counted as a grade and a paper will go home each night for them to turn in the next day.

Hi All,

Attached is the newsletter for next week.

4th grade parents please note the note on the spelling words. Spelling words in the sentences must have either the -ed or -ing ending...their choice. For the test I will pick one or the other to give them.

I also took individual fun and  family pictures yesterday at the baseball game and put them on the school Facebook page. If you are not on Facebook and would like ones with your child please let me know,

Just a friendly reminder that the plant report and projects are due next Wednesday. All the information was given out the last week of February. Please make sure your child is working on this. Points will be taken off for late projects. Also, these projects will be entered into the fair. :)

Wednesday Reminders For All

Please take a moment to read the following reminders. A copy is also being sent home today that will include the A's food policy.

 

~Wednesday (4/13) Reminders~

 

·       If your child is not attending (only the 4 that have spoken to me) have the day off of school. Please do not come to school that day. Your child will be marked as present and will not have any homework.

 

·       Free dress!! Please make sure it is still school appropriate.

 

·       You may bring snacks, etc. as you would like. Attached is from the A's website about what they allow. Please note that each ticket also comes with a $6 food voucher.

 

·       Sunscreen! Not sure how warm or sunny it will actually be. :)

 

·      All parents who are attending please be here by 10:50ish. We will try to leave by 11. Last but not least; Go A's…WAIT…I mean GO ANGELS! :)
