Parent Help Needed Tomorrow

Newsletter, Sykpe With Pen Pals, and Field Trips

Hi All,

Attached is the newsletter for next week. It is also National Lutheran Schools week. Each day has a dress-up day! I have attached the schedule for you.

On Wednesday at 12:15 we are planning to Skype with our pen pals from Nebraska!!! I could really use some parent help with this to help supervise the class during the process. Please let me know if you can help.

We have a field trip set on Thursday, March 24th to Ardenwood farms. I have only had a couple parents respond about going. If you would like to attend please let me know.

Book Report Reminder

Hi All,

A book report was assigned 2 weeks ago and is due on February 3rd. The type of book is mystery.

I also need to approve and see the book your child is reading. I have not approved about half the class. Please make sure this happens soon. Points will be taken off for late book reports.

Let me know if you have any questions or need another copy of the book report options.

Also, a homework assignment was due today for a National Lutheran School's Week project. Students were to bring in pictures of items of their blessings and talents that God has blessed them with. Please make sure this assignment gets turned in tomorrow.

Spelling Bee Reminder

HI All,

I forgot to send home the note today about the spelling bee. Tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. is CLS annual spelling bee. All are welcome to attend and support those in the spelling bee. Participants in 1st to 4th Grade need to be here by 5:45 p.m.

New Field Trip and Auction Baskets

Hi All,

We have another field trip booked for Thursday, March 24th at Ardenwood Farms. We will be leaving here around 10:45 and returning by 2:45. The class will be learning about farm life and animals. Please let me know if you would like to attend this trip.

Also, the school auction is set for May 7th. Each class is asked to do a project and submit baskets to be auctioned off. I would like to get a jump start on our class baskets now. We will be doing 2 pet baskets(a cat and a dog). Attached is a sign up sheet for you to look at and this will be printed in the classroom as well. I have heard that the PetCo in Fremont is closing off of Morwy Ave. and entire store is on clearance. This may be a great time to get a good jump start on this. :)

Attached is the newsletter for next week and the dress up schedule for National Lutheran School's Week.

We have started a school read-a-thon fundraiser. Information was sent home this week. Please help your child activate their page and start asking for donations.Money raised will be used to add more LED lighting to the classrooms. If you have any questions, let me know.
